Corporate Counsel Duties: Draft, revise and negotiate various commercial agreements, including partnership and distribution, marketing, promotional, production agreements, advertising insertion orders, communications, SaaS, technology, and general vendor-related agreements, among others. Provide legal support for business development, marketing, and communications campaigns from conception through execution, including advice on consumer protection, advertising law, regulatory compliance, rights clearances, endorsement disclosures, etc. Support the business development group with all aspects of branded partnerships, entertainment deals, and growth and distribution deals. Work closely and collaboratively with internal teams to achieve desired business outcomes. Assist in the administration of corporate policies and procedures, such as vendor security, privacy compliance, and contract approval. Work with internal counsel to establish, maintain and protect Match Group's global trademark and general IP portfolio.
Qualifications: Law degree from an accredited law school and admission (or in-house eligibility) to practice law in California. Should preferably have 4 years of experience, with a top law firm and in-house legal department experience. Experience with consumer protection and marketing law and drafting and negotiating marketing and tech transaction contracts; general understanding of privacy, intellectual property, digital media, influencer endorsement regulations, and consumer internet industry; experience with music licensing and/or B2B aggregator and distribution partner deals is an added bonus. Strong fact-finding, drafting, negotiating, writing, and research skills.
