Associate Corporate Counsel DUTIES: Serve as primary legal support for the Music business. Developing innovative solutions to novel legal questions is part of our daily business. Directly advise music streaming business on a broad range of entertainment matters. Work as the lead lawyer on strategic projects, providing day-to-day advice to the business in a wide range of legal areas, notably content licensing, marketing, and privacy and regulatory compliance. Directly work with the business to take the lead in structuring, drafting and negotiating licenses and commercial agreements with external partners.
QUALIFICATIONS: J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar. Should have 2+ years of experience practicing law as a transactional attorney, preferably with some of that time spent working in IP, technology, or entertainment transactions PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Should have 2+ years of experience in a national or international law firm. Experience structuring, drafting, negotiating, and closing a broad range of commercial contracts. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, and commitment to follow through and meet deadlines. Sharp analytical and communication skills. Passion to embrace challenges and aggressively drive meaningful solutions, including amid complexity and uncertainty.
