Corporate Counsel - FinTech The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop SVB's next-generation suite of banking solutions to service the most innovative clients. Advise product development teams on a range of legal and regulatory issues related to the structuring, implementation and delivery of financial products, services and channels that our cryptocurrency, Web 3.0, blockchain, digital asset and other advanced Fintech clients require. Help architect complex technology transactions and financial services in the context of both emerging and traditional financial systems. Actively collaborate with colleagues across a spectrum of disciplines including commercial and consumer bankers, liquidity and asset management teams, product designers and developers, software engineers, risk and compliance officers and operational teams, all working at the intersection of finance, technology and design. You will bring your knowledge and abilities to bear to provide full product life-cycle counseling, from ideation and development to launch, operation and sunset. In addition, you will provide meaningful and engaged contributions to the firm's Legal's ongoing commitment to develop best-in-class practices. Must have 3 to 7 years of relevant legal and on-the-job experience, either at a top-tier law firm or in-house. Admission to either NY or CA bars, if licensed in NY and residing in CA, eligible to register as in-house counsel in CA. A J.D. from a top tier school and excellent academic credentials; and Strong professional references, especially from your current employer.
