Corporate Counsel, Legal Responsibilities: Counsel engineering clients regarding the use of open-source software in compliance with policies and procedures. Review, draft, and negotiate inbound and outbound software and technology license agreements. Review, draft, and negotiate agreements for product sales, services, and support in addition to other customer and business partner contracts. Coordinate deal negotiation with internal stakeholders. Counsel clients regarding contract terms, compliance, and dispute resolution. Develop and provide internal training on legal and compliance topics.

Qualifications: A JD degree and admission to practice law in a U.S. state (California preferred). Should preferably have 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with both law firm and in-house experience. Significant experience in open source licensing and counseling, commercial transactions, and intellectual property law. Experience in the computing or semiconductor industry is a plus.
