Corporate Attorney

Corporate Attorney The candidate will be advising company leadership and senior management on various legal matters, and new and existing laws. Examining, editing, or creating draft agreements, including purchase, supply, and vendor agreements. Maintaining knowledge of the organization's operations and legal documents. Conducting legal research and reviewing the company's litigation strategy pertaining to legal actions. Promulgating and creating directives of corporate acts and decisions. Preserving all corporate records and other legal documents. Handling statutory filings, such as licensing forms. Liaising with outside counsel regarding directed assignments. Creating new entities and managing the organization's intellectual property. A JD Degree from an ABA-accredited law school. California State Bar License. Should have 5+ years of solid experience in corporate, real estate, or contract law. Experience with complex corporate structures and transactions internationally is a plus. Able to work hard in a fast-paced office to meet difficult deadlines, goals, initiatives, etc. Organized and detail-oriented, able to multi-task without letting work fall through the cracks. Understands the need for integrity and demonstrates awareness of ethical implications in all situations. Effective computer and communication skills, including Office Products and computerized legal research. Ability to manage a range of commercial and general corporate transaction matters through completion with effective communication and time management.
