Corporate Counsel The candidate will primarily support Firms' sales and marketing teams in Latin America, with a focus on Brazil, including negotiating, drafting and advising on strategic enterprise agreements and technology licensing agreements, and advising on regulatory and compliance issues, and assisting with marketing initiatives and global expansion. Typical transactions will range from standard contracts to complex, high-dollar-value strategic agreements. Participating in other Firms' Web Services legal projects, including managing legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
The candidate should have a JD (or Brazilian equivalent) and membership in Brazilian Bar Association. Must have 5+ years of legal experience. Should have Business fluent Portuguese and English language skills (speaking and writing, including negotiating and agreement drafting). Familiar with IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications or cloud computing services is preferred. Transactional and technology licensing experience is desired. In-house experience at a technology or internet company is a plus.
