The candidate should have J.D. degree from a recognized law school and license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with the ability to gain admission as authorized in-house counsel in Florida. Doctorate or better in Law preferred. Should have 4-6 years of broad commercial/business law experience, preferably from a combination of a law firm and a corporate legal department. In-house experience in a manufacturing or consumer products company is preferred; Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting, reviewing, evaluating and communicating key terms of commercial agreements and the ability to bring a pragmatic approach to the contracting process that accomplishes the Company objectives while identifying and mitigating risks; A solid understanding of basic commercial and contract law and experience with IP, sales, advertising/marketing, import/customs and anti-corruption law; Experience implementing a corporate ethics compliance program and conducting internal investigations; Ability to travel (domestic and international).

The ability to effectively communicate and persuade by written or spoken word is critical. Experience and ability appropriate to the level of cases or matters handled.
