Will research and analyze the effects of various domestic and international transactions. Support domestic and international mergers and acquisitions including due diligence and integration. Support domestic and international income tax reporting including tax compliance and provisions. Support US and international tax controversy teams on tax audits. Manage and direct junior tax professionals and external tax service providers.

The candidate should have B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent. Master's in Tax or J.D. degree (or greater) desirable. CPA or Bar membership preferred. Must have 6+ years of federal income tax consulting experience including relevant experience with income tax compliance/reporting. Experience in working in a large public accounting firm or large multinational corporate tax department is preferred. Strong experience in mergers and acquisitions and the federal taxation of Subchapter C corporations is desired. Significant understanding of the taxation of US federal Subchapter C Corporations is required. Strong technical writing and federal tax research skills preferred. Must have superior analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns. Should have outstanding experience in staff and tax management in an integrated client service team. Must have computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology. Should have ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
