The candidate should have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or business related field. Certified Public Accountant (or commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager and thereafter obtain CPA licensure), Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar required. Must have 3+ years of experience. Should have considerable knowledge of individual tax planning for employee cross-border movement including foreign national and expatriate issues, foreign tax compliance and the tax equalization process. Must have working knowledge of managing international assignee populations of multinational clients. Proficient technical skills in individual tax compliance, tax planning and expatriate tax program policy and administration design preferred. Legal 3 - 5 Full-time 2012-11-13

Washington - International Tax Director

The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a full range of international tax services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients to provide innovative international tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise; developing and managing staff; working closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development and business development activities; and formulating and delivering innovative international tax planning and savings strategies. Will oversee the efforts of multiple client services teams on client engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete international tax projects in a wide variety of industries; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; and market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients and manage to budget. Oversee the delivery of a full range of international tax services and advise US and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations as well as coordinating US tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy. Consult with clients on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions, effective use of tax treaties, planning related to offshore investments activities and repatriation programs to minimize US and foreign income taxes of US-based multinational clients, minimizing worldwide tax burdens on business transactions and operations, and making effective foreign investments. Develop a project vision and set challenging personal and client service team goals. Conduct primary and secondary review of complicated or complex international tax returns. Facilitate client understanding of international tax development implications. Work closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Should also have a CPA, Master's in Taxation, LL.M. in Taxation, or J.D. degree. Must have 8+ years of progressive tax consulting experience, preferably with at least five years focused on international taxation. Should have experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company. Must have superior analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax consulting and compliance. Should have experience with inbound and outbound transaction consulting, multinational corporation experience, transfer pricing, foreign tax credit utilization, and tax minimization. Must have computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology. Legal 8 - 10 Full-time 2012-09-24

The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations. Will develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Perform due diligence, including review of tax returns, financials and other tax documentation to evaluate potential tax risks and opportunities. Review and comment on tax aspects of financial models. Review and comment on tax aspects of purchase agreements. Coordinate with state and local and international tax team members, as well as financial and operational due diligence team members, to deliver highest quality integrated work product. Develop and maintain client relationships. Manage client engagements, from client interview, information gathering and documentation, to the creation of project deliverable. Generate business development leads and projects. Supervise and mentor staff members.

The candidate should have CPA, J.D. (with Bachelor's degree in accounting, preferred), Master's in Taxation, or LL.M. degree. Must have 7-10 years of tax consulting experience. Should have knowledge of accounting and financial reporting. Legal 7 - 10 Full-time 2012-08-16
