Associate General Counsel Regulatory Compliance

Seattle WA Associate General Counsel Regulatory Compliance The candidate will advise on new and existing regulations pertaining to interoperability, data access, and information blocking, as well as HIPAA and anti-kickback laws as they relate to the provision of Athena's services. Will lead efforts to further build the regulatory compliance function associated with telehealth/virtual care, corporate practice of medicine and other strategic objectives pertaining to digital health. The candidate should have JD degree a from a well-recognized law school and excellent academic credentials. Must be admitted to a U.S. state bar in good standing. Must have 7+ years of legal experience ideally at a healthcare or health technology company, a mid to large-sized law firm, and/or in government. Should have superior verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with experience in people management required. Qualifications: 7+ years of vendor contract and/or technology law and/or transactional experience at a Law Firm and/or In House Legal Department are preferred. Excellent writing and contract drafting skills. Exceptional planning and prioritization skills. Demonstrated understanding of the needs, demands and requirements of business lines as well as corporate centers/functions.
